I got a cannon all in one air printer and I hate it, not only does it make you use a link to sign on to a site to use the printer, which wasn’t secure, it was not always staying linked, it also did not print correctly the documents I would scan, upload or etc. The chips on the cartridges would be broken by the printer when ink reached a certain level and stop it from working before it was out of ink In fact you had to buy new empty cartridges and a chip for each cartridge and could the fill them which cost more than 8 dollars. The instructions in the kit neglected to tell you that used cartridges could not be refilled. I think they alk do now.Ī refill kit was 12. Bought an Epson WF all in one my dream printer just to get even angrier as they had all the same deceptive statements and chipped expensive cartridges. Printer cost less than replacing the cartriges once. It was cheaper to return the printer under the 30 day return policy and buy a new one for the next 30 days. Big lies! Little cartridges that printed a fraction of the pages stated and cost of cartridges tripled in 2 months, could not scan or print if even one cartridge needed replaced nor print in black or grey scale if a color cartridge needed replaced because the printer used alk colors all the time for black and greyscale even when set to use only the black cartridge and ink saver settings were just for looks as printer used excessive ink to print. They stated the number of pages you could print per cartridge and the cartridges pictured on the box appeared to be a large size cartridge. Replacement cartridges were about 8 bucks when I bought it. I ended up buying a new Cannon Pixma color print and scan and was soon to be dissapointed and angry. I had a HP for years and when I could no longer refill my cartridges and new ones cost over 50 bucks I decided to look at printers for a cheaper refillable cartridge. I always went back to HP and I Vow to never deviate again deviation and annulment is costly. The times I deviated from HP (to Brothers and to Canon), the relationships were annulled very quickly. It is amazing, and the machine has so far been very user friendly in all ways including being economical. I got an HP all-in-one Projet with Instant Ink. It was more economical just to go get a new printer and that's what I did. Unbelievable how much paper I had wasted using the newer Canon for the <3 months I had it. They have completely about faced to false advertising, false claims, sub-par printers. I had a Canon a decade ago and I was very happy with it in all ways back then. There is no savings in Canon printers they are like highway robbers. I thought it was BS and I’m not putting money to profit Canon. At $54 for the tri color at Walmart, every month, I don’t want to waste money in gas money and ink purchases when I know there are more efficient printers out there.

The extra free ink provided with the purchase were actually OEM that the printer WILL not accept, they are incompatible, forcing you to buy brand Canon ink. I had a Canon All-in-one for less than 3 months and quickly chose not to play their games. “In truth, the All-in-One Printers do not scan or fax documents when the devices have low or empty ink cartridges, and Canon’s advertising claims are false, misleading, and reasonably likely to deceive the public,” the class action complaint reads. He says, throughout its marketing and advertising, including on the product packaging, Canon claims the All-in-One Printers are multifunction devices that can print, copy, scan, and in some cases, fax documents.
